Two electric-vehicle charging stations face each other in the gallery vitrine, connected by a single cable. Detached from their utilitarian function, they appear caught in an endless exchange of energy, intimacy and dependence. Part urban satire, part absurd romance, PowerCouple transforms anonymous infrastructure into a tragic yet comic love story. Their luminous pulses suggest moods, arguments, reconciliations and moments of ecstasy. Installed in the window's clinical setting, these machines become strangely human, as they suddenly acquire desire, vulnerability and theatricality.

For the opening night, a ‘parking.brussels’ scan car reappeared as a wedding car, adorned with ribbons and flowers and accompanied by a sci-fi remix of The Power of Love. The symbol of automated surveillance becomes playful, ceremonial and unexpectedly tender. A contemporary Romeo and Juliet, powered not by fate but by electricity. The whole mise-en-scène asks a simple question: what happens when machines begin to resemble us, and when our desires start looking increasingly like systems of performance, consumption
and endless connectivity?
